Dermatology:
From symptoms to disease
Skin diseases can often be assessed by self-diagnosis. The best way to do this is in two steps:
- Determine which parts of the body are affected
- Think about the symptoms that bother you the most.
We are happy to support you with our online tool to diagnose possible illnesses yourself.
However, this tool is not perfect, and does not replace the evaluation of the skin by a dermatologist.
Skin analysis by artificial intelligence
In medicine, artificial intelligence systems are beginning to help doctors with diagnostics. Great progress has already been made, especially in the diagnosis of skin diseases.
We provide here a system that can be used for an initial assessment of the following skin diseases:
- Actinic keratosis
- Benign keratosis
- Basal cell carcinoma
- Dermatofibroma
- Melanocytic nevi
- Melanoma
- Vascular lesions of the skin
However, the AI skin analysis is not perfect, and the AI assessment does not replace the evaluation of the skin by a dermatologist.
In order to improove the system, please allow us to use your data to improve the service and to pass it on to third parties. This includes in particular the information you provide about your medical history and the photos you upload for AI analysis.
